Skin cancer is the most widely spread type of cancer. Today, already more than 2.5 million people in Europe are affected. But, fortunately, skin cancer, if diagnosed and treated at an early stage, is the best curable type of cancer. However, if the right time is missed, your health may be seriously affected, which can lead to physical disfigurement and, eventually, death.

 

If you control your skin regularly, you have a very high and proven chance to detect skin cancer very early and to protect yourself against the consequences.

Who should use the SkinTracer®? You should - and all who are concerned about their health.

SkinTracer® supports you professionally and efficiently in your efforts to detect skin cancer at an early stage. The software records all relevant information concerning your skin and supports you, step by step, in controlling the data. During that process, form and colour of your mole are analyzed and documented. This makes it easier for you to recognize changes and enables you to react early.

Functions:

  • Any number of moles can be recorded on a three-dimensional depiction of the body (3D Body Map). Form and colour of a mole can be documented in regular intervals by using macro- and distance pictures. This leads to a complete documentation of each mole and enables you to react to changes at an early stage.
  • In addition, you have the possibility to make personal notes in a diary.
  • The assessment of a mole is based on the ABCDE-check acknowledged and accepted by dermatologists.
  • The assistant leads you in five steps through this check and provides you with an analysis.
  • After completion of the check, a risk indication is provided.
  • By simply pressing a button, all your mole documentations are transmitted to a competence centre of your choice for a diagnosis. You can decide which parts of the data and pictures may be transmitted.
